Insights
Research notes, technical papers and perspectives.
Insights is Noviota’s working publication space — research notes, technical explanations, project updates and longer essays arising from our work in infectious disease, immunology, computational biology and biological engineering.
The objective is not to maintain a high-volume corporate blog. We publish when a piece of work, method or argument is worth making available, and we favour material that can remain useful beyond the week in which it appears. Topics fall broadly into Research Notes, Technical, Perspectives and Projects.
When a Genome Model Produces a Working Virus
AI-designed bacteriophages offer an intriguing glimpse of the transition from predicting biology to designing it.

Sybil is an experimental domain-specific language through which Noviota is exploring how biological systems might be represented in forms that remain readable to scientists while becoming increasingly useful to computation.
